Tips for New and Seasoned Agents for 2024

Tips for New and Seasoned Agents for 2024

Whether you’re an experienced agent looking to fine-tune your process or you’re a brand new agent about to start your first year, we’re here to help you start your year off right. There’s never been a better time to re-commit yourself to all aspects of the industry, or isolate the things you love about your work and hone your process so that you can do more of what makes you happy. Here are just a few pieces of advice we have for you (for more, check out Episode 30 of the Realestatable Podcast)!

If you don’t already, consider working with a team. Even if you’ve been in the business for years, having like-minded people around you offering guidance and support can help you feel inspired to keep pushing yourself. Everyone has different strengths, and teammates can skyrocket your business just by working and trying alongside you.

As always, keep up with what’s happening in your market and those around you. Learning about the area's trends can help you confidently coach your clients. But that’s not all - the more you talk about these issues with agents, clients, friends, and people waiting for their mobile coffee orders, the more you’ll get a sense of what different people NEED when they ask you how the market is - don’t give everyone the same story.

Now is also the time to organize and implement systems. This is such an investment in time spent researching and updating, but in the end, it’s always worth it when you can look at your newly spruced-up spreadsheet and know every piece of information on it is up-to-date. As you prepare your marketing strategy for the upcoming year, having your systems in place to help you measure data is also crucial.

If there’s one other thing we can tell you, it’s that accountability is everything. Build it into everything you do to set yourself up for success - if you don’t, the awesome changes you make in 2024 will fall apart. Whether it’s a team that helps you, or other agents in your region, or even the alarms you set up, having that support can take you from “surviving” to “successful.”
