Hire a Real Estate VA for More Time and Less Stress

With over 40 million virtual assistants worldwide, why haven’t you hired one yet? You have to admit that running a business with little to no help is a headache.
You’re spending countless hours trying to clean up your email, create social media content, and schedule appointments. No wonder you have little to no time to spend with your family at the end of the day.
Your babies are getting older every day, and before you know it, they’ll be teenagers. This is why our guest, Justin Berry, is here to share his journey as a real estate agent who started a company to free up business owners’ time.
Tune into episode 60 of the podcast to hear his story and more about his company, Hire Today VA, or stay here to get the details.
Justin’s Journey into the Real Estate World
At 19, Justin was set on joining a rock band so he could have a life of freedom. After spending a few years as a real estate appraiser, he realized this wasn’t the life that he wanted.
With the help of his supportive wife, he was able to create a successful real estate business. However, he started to notice how stressed his wife was becoming from just having to check her email daily.
This is when he decided to hire a virtual assistant who could help clean up her email. Guess what! It added three additional hours to her day, allowing her to take care of more important tasks.
Justin realized how important it is for real estate agents to have additional help. Honestly, we can’t do it all, and having someone else to at least take care of the administrative work of running a business can clear a lot off our plates.
Curious About Hire Today VA? Here's Why It's Special
The main issue with trying to find someone to help run a business is that most people aren’t in it for the long haul or don’t have the right qualifications. Justin had a hard time finding the right people to help him with specific tasks as his real estate business started growing.
He realized he couldn’t hire friends, family, or past clients, as they usually stay for a short while. So, he decided to look globally to find the right people to help him get things done.
This is why Hire Today VA is different. His company outsources work from another country to help owners streamline their business. He also shares what sets him apart from places like Upwork and Fiverr.
On those platforms, VAs are more than likely freelancers, and often they don’t look for work that will last for a long time. They’re looking for contract work and are always chasing the next biggest project.
Platforms like Justin’s provide talent that has four years of experience and actually sees being a virtual assistant as a career. Often, people in the States view this type of position as less than, but those in other countries take pride in this industry.
Owners' and Assistants’ Onboarding Process
When owners decide to hire a virtual assistant through his company, his wife and his own assistant (Ann) guide them through the entire process. They sit down with the owner to see why they need a virtual assistant and how they can best help them streamline their business.
VAs joining the platform undergo a 72-hour training that provides classes on topics such as QuickBooks, social media, and sales. He is also highly selective about who he hires, as he only wants VAs who take pride in their career.
He also shares why business owners need to provide a 40-hour work week over a 20-hour work week. Those who are part-time are more than likely to be "carrot chasers"—listen to the episode to find out what he means by that.
Those who work 40 hours are more likely to stay with you the longest and learn exactly how you want to run your business. Just think of it this way: the cost of a VA will add 40 hours to your week. How does that sound?
